It is hard to believe it's come and gone. That one year mark that you think about and look forward to... all of a sudden it's here and then you've passed it in a flash! One year has gone by so quickly - and yet, so much has happened. Impossible to know one year could hold such love, pride, amazement, change, gratitude and pure happiness. Looking back at this picture of Bowen on the night she was born - that amazing, knowing look in her eyes - it takes my breath away. That little babe is now our "1 year old"! She's been the very same precious, unique little girl from the start, just revealing herself to us a little more day by day. Life is truly a miracle. No doubt each year of Bowen's life will be a blessing of it's own, but the magnitude of what transpires in the first year has me in awe. One year ago, Bowen came into our lives and we brought home this tiny, beautiful little wonder. Now she is a little girl all her own. She has opened our hearts to a new level of love and shown us joy and laughter in even the most ordinary.
We love you so much Bowen.
