Window Seat

While we were away, Bowen's favorite place in the cottage was an extraordinarily deep window seat in the sitting room. It was huge, because of the thick cottage walls and became a sort of play area - as long as Stew or I were there with her. She loved to stand up there and watch various people and sometimes animals pass by. Breathing warm breath on the cold glass and giving it a 'kiss' was also a new favorite past time. I snapped these shots on the first morning after we arrived as Bowen enjoyed her morning milk. I thought they were so cute - both still in their jams - and Bowen sporting the fabulous leg warmers Marybeth knitted her! It was a cozy spot for sure... just perfect for two!
