I wanted to be sure and note a few of the new things Bowen's learned to do lately. It's always fun to watch her discover something new and to see how fascinating it is to her! So, here are the latest...
2 - Smacking her lips - the next best thing to clicking :)
3 - Nodding her head up and down in a very exaggerated way. A while ago she learned to shake her head back and forth, but the nod was more of a challenge!
4 - Stomping her feet - just learned this one.
She likes to do the top 4 on command in addition to clapping hands and shaking her head back & forth!
5 - Grinding her teeth - Yikes! (I'm hoping this one won't last long!)
6 - Climbing on top of low level items and standing up - recent example: my suitcase.
7 - "Reading" books independently - can sometimes entertain herself that way for 5 mins or so.
8 - Babbling full sentences in her own "foreign language" - haha
9 - A few weeks ago she found her shadow while out walking in the garden and reached down to take hold of it. Of course, as soon as she did, it disappeared. Darn shadow!
10 - Playing 'hide & seek' - except that she wants to be the one seeking and when she finds you - she gets SOOO excited!
ps - The photo was taken in Amsterdam this past weekend while we were relaxing by one of the canals. We bought this little seat for the trip called "Sack n Seat" which was a lifesaver. We used it for her meals and for general hanging out when we needed her to be seated. It was compact, super easy to use and was soft and comfortable for Bowen. If you're interested you can find it here. She really seemed to like it, so it added to our enjoyment as well!
All in all, a big thumbs up!
